Automatic and reliable, the Litter Robot has a large waste drawer which holds several days worth of waste - which is great when you are away for the weekend or leave town for a short trip. The Litter Robot uses a high tech sifting process which removes waste clumps from the litter. Waste goes into the waste drawer, which you can line with any ordinary 8 or 13 gallon kitchen trash bag. Clean up is a snap - simply remove the bag and throw it away! The Litter Robot works with any clumping clay litter, as well as litter crystals and pearls (the Litter Robot does not work with Feline Pine). The Litter Robot operates on a safe 12 volts DC (adapter included). There are no moving parts or sharp objects inside the globe that could harm your cat. A safety mechanism prevents the Litter Robot from operating when a cat is inside. As an additional safety feature, the globe rotates very slowly during the cleaning cycle.
